What is the meaning of Coronal?

Coronal is widely used term in Dental Miscellaneous Term.

In dental terminology, “coronal” refers to the upper portion or the crown of a tooth. The crown is the visible part of the tooth above the gumline that is primarily responsible for biting and chewing food. It is covered by a protective layer of enamel.
