What is the meaning of Wisdom Tooth Removal?

Wisdom Tooth Removal is widely used term in Dental Procedures.

Wisdom tooth removal refers to the dental procedure of extracting one or more wisdom teeth, also known as third molars, from the back of the mouth. These teeth are usually the last to emerge, typically during the late teens or early twenties. Wisdom tooth removal may be necessary when the teeth are impacted (partially or fully trapped beneath the gums and bone), causing various dental problems such as crowding, misalignment, infection, damage to adjacent teeth or bone, and pain. The procedure involves the use of local or general anesthesia, with the dentist or oral surgeon making an incision in the gum tissue, if needed, to access and extract the affected tooth. Recovery may involve post-operative care, pain management, and following specific dietary instructions.
